Volleyball Recap: Liberty's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Liberty had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Antioch Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Liberty Boyd paced Liberty's offense, picking up six kills. Boyd got some help from Emery Gunderson and her ten assists. Boyd also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Yazmen Calhoun, each putting up five.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Antioch, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Liberty is set to challenge their familiar foe Freedom at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Antioch will face off against rival Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
