            Volleyball Recap: Cave City Cavemen vs. Walnut Ridge Bobcats        
        
		
        
        
            Cave City hadn't done well against Walnut Ridge recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Monday. The Cavemen walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Bobcats. This was payback for the Cavemen, who suffered  a  2-0  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Cave City had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-22, 26-24,  28-26.

Cave City moved to 3-4 with that  win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Walnut Ridge, they now also have a losing record of 3-4.
 Cave City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-1  defeat against Melbourne on the 16th. Walnut Ridge has also already played their next  contest (against Crowley's Ridge Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
