Volleyball Recap: Cripple Creek-Victor Comes Up Short

Cripple Creek-Victor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Valley Wolves.

Madison Mead paced Cripple Creek-Victor's offense, picking up nine kills. Mead got some help from Savannah Mead and her four assists. Savannah was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Cripple Creek-Victor's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mountain Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.

Cripple Creek-Victor has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Atlas Preparatory School on the 15th. As for Mountain Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Centennial on the 13th.
