Football Recap: Live Oak Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Live Oak duked it out with Paradise on Friday. The Lions took a 33-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. The Lions have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Bradley Perigo threw for 115 yards on nine of 17 attempts. Logan Schuster was his top target, picking up 63 receiving yards.

Paradise was led to victory by Aaron Davis and Evan Higgs. Davis threw for 224 yards and four TDs while completing 78.6% of his passes, while Higgs gained 136 total yards and two touchdowns. The Bobcats' leading receiver Davis Limbaugh was Davis' top target yet again, picking up 47 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Live Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Paradise, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Live Oak has already played their next game, a 42-7 loss against Winters on the 19th. As for Paradise, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Gridley at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th.
