Softball Recap: Silverton Foxes vs. Dallas Dragons
If Silverton was feeling good fresh off their 11-3 takedown of South Albany on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Foxes fell 8-4 to the Dallas Dragons on Wednesday. The Foxes haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Maddalynn Ehrens made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Avery Wurdinger, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Silverton's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-6. As for Dallas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

The Foxes will square off against Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (49 vs. 128). Meanwhile, Dallas (ranked 31st) will meet South Albany (ranked 102nd) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
