Baseball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Carroll's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Andalusia Bulldogs on Friday.

Carroll has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15-1 record this season. As for Andalusia, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carroll will host Headland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Andalusia, they will challenge UMS-Wright Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Andalusia 3.1, UMS-Wright Prep 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
