Preview: Jamestown Muskies vs. Commodore Perry Panthers
Jamestown has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Commodore Perry Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Jamestown suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Farrell at home and fell 86-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jamestown has scored all season.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-31, which was the final score in Commodore Perry's tilt against Farrell on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Commodore Perry has suffered against Farrell since February 2, 2016.
Jamestown bumped their record down to 3-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Commodore Perry, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Jamestown against Commodore Perry when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 70-35 victory. Will Jamestown repeat their success, or does Commodore Perry have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
