Preview: Whitewright vs. Honey Grove
Honey Grove will challenge Whitewright on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close matchup.
Last week, Honey Grove couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 16-33 fall. They got a solid performance out of junior Dometreus Pruitt, who rushed for 130 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, Whitewright had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Whitewright didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 27-33 to Clarksville.
