Baseball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the North Henderson Knights, falling 9-3. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Franklin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton King, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for North Henderson, their record is now 7-4.

Looking ahead, North Henderson will challenge Chase at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklin will be paying especially close attention to North Henderson's matchup: after North Henderson faces off against Chase, they'll take on Franklin again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
