Basketball Recap: Hillsboro Find Success

Hillsboro had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They escaped with a win on Saturday against the North Adams Green Devils by the margin of a single free throw, 60-59. The win was all the more spectacular given the Indians' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 444th, while the Green Devils are ranked 120th).

The victory got Hillsboro back to even at 3-3. As for North Adams, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Hillsboro is taking a road trip to challenge Blanchester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Adams, they will square off against Lynchburg-Clay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Adams knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Lynchburg-Clay likes a good challenge.
