The Russell Red Devils will square off against the Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Russell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 30.6 points per game this season.

Russell is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Bourbon County by a score of 14-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Russell found their leader in sophomore Kaiden Benge, who rushed for 114 yards and one score. Those 114 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Benge.

Meanwhile, Lloyd Memorial won against Bath County two weeks ago with 48 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Juggernauts took their contest with ease, bagging a 48-20 win over Henry County. Considering the Juggernauts have won nine matchups by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Russell better keep an eye on KALEB EVANS. He was instrumental in Lloyd Memorial's win, throwing for 148 yards and three TDs on perfect 9-for-9 passing. DeMAREON PETERSON was in the mix as well, providing the Juggernauts with one touchdown.

Russell's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Lloyd Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.

Russell won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, slipping by Lloyd Memorial 21-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
