St. Michael-Albertville's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Maple Grove, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Maple Grove didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against St. Michael-Albertville in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 45-39 win.
