Baseball Recap: Dolores Comes Up Short

Dolores was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 19-1 to the Ignacio Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 last Tuesday.

Dolores saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Waylon Kiddoo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Dolores' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Ignacio, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

While Dolores had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
