It's playoff time, and Fremont had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the West Field Longhorns 3-0 on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Silverwolves as they're now sitting on six straight.
Despite the defeat, West Field saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jorie Schiffman had 17 digs. With that strong performance, Schiffman is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.
Fremont's victory bumped their record up to 28-2. As for West Field, they moved to 19-12 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
Fremont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Skyline on the 30th. West Field does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
