Baseball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

Farmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the Newmarket Mules. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mules this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 back in April.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Newmarket, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Farmington will square off against Pittsfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Newmarket, they will take on Mascenic Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Mules surely won't give up without a fight.
