Football Recap: Alex Hartshorn Leads Titusville's Defense on Friday

Titusville extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 1-9. They lost 35-14 to the Fairview Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Rockets have lost by exactly 21 points.

When it comes to explaining why Titusville lost, don't look at Jaydin O'Neill. Despite the final result, he rushed for 151 yards and one TD while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.

Titusville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Leading the way was Alex Hartshorn and his one interception.

As for Fairview, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7. Considering their offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Fairview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joey O'Reilly led the charge by rushing for 92 yards and one score on only seven carries. That's the most rushing yards O'Reilly has posted since back in August. Fairview also got a significant boost from Caden Oldach, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.

As of now, neither Titusville nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
