Edon is still winless after their match against Bath on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wildcats. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Bombers' highest-scoring contest to date.

Allyson Derck and Amanda Schwartz did some serious damage despite the final result: Derck scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Schwartz scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Derck also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Smith, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Edon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bath, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Edon has already played their next game, a 13-1 loss against Napoleon on the 12th. As for Bath, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against Ayersville on the 12th.
