Baseball Preview: Newark Norsemen vs. Putnam County Panthers
Newark hasn't had much luck against Putnam County recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Norsemen will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Saturday.
Newark took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Earlville. The result was nothing new for the Norsemen, who have now won five matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
