Basketball Recap: New Lothrop Comes Up Short

New Lothrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 56-32 to the Chesaning Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 52-34 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

New Lothrop's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chesaning, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

New Lothrop will be playing in front of their home fans against Birch Run at 7:00 p.m. on December 16th. As for Chesaning, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mt. Morris at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mt. Morris knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Chesaning likes a good challenge.
