Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Cougars vs. Plymouth North Eagles        
        
		
             Notre Dame Academy came tearing into  Friday's  game with four straight wins  and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Plymouth North Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Notre Dame Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-16, 25-15,  25-20.
  Caroline Hartnett paced Notre Dame Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hartnett got some help from 
 Amelia Burgoyne and her 19 assists. 
 Olivia Mainvielle controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
 Notre Dame Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record  this season. As for Plymouth North, their loss was  their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-16.
 Notre Dame Academy will challenge Burlington at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. Plymouth North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
