Basketball Recap: Pleasant Hill Takes a Loss

Pleasant Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 74-70 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pawnee Indians. The Wolves lost against the Indians in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 85-58 score last time.

Pleasant Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Pawnee, their win bumped their record up to 6-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant Hill will venture away from home to square off against Calhoun at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pleasant Hill has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Pawnee, they will head out on the road to face off against Nokomis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
