Football Game Preview: Eldon Mustangs vs. Blair Oaks Falcons

Eldon is 0-10 against Blair Oaks since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Eldon after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost to Southern Boone at home by a 34-20 margin. The game was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Mustangs couldn't quite close it out.

Although Eldon took the loss, they still got scores from Drew Hinds, Chase Atkinson, and Colin Brisbin.

Meanwhile, Blair Oaks strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 52-10 win over Blue Valley Southwest. With the Falcons ahead 35-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Eldon's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Blair Oaks, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Eldon took a serious blow against Blair Oaks in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 63-0. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
