Softball Recap: South Lakes Takes a Loss

South Lakes scored first but ultimately less than Bishop McNamara in their matchup on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2. The Seahawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Lakes saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cassandra De La Cruz, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Lindsey Poole was another, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base.

South Lakes' record is now 9-3. As for Bishop McNamara, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-7.

Coming up, South Lakes will square off against James Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop McNamara, they will host St. John's at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
