Basketball Recap: Rappahannock Comes Up Short

Rappahannock lost against Essex back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rappahannock Raiders took a 63-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Essex Trojans. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rappahannock's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Essex, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

When Rappahannock and Essex next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Rappahannock will try to stop Mathews' three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Essex will face off against Lunenburg Central and their four-game winning streak at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
