Brownstown/St. Elmo and Okawville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Brownstown/St. Elmo had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

While Brownstown/St. Elmo was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23.

Presley Williams paced Brownstown/St. Elmo's offense, picking up eight kills. Williams got some help from Addie Sasse and her ten assists.

Brownstown/St. Elmo's loss dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Okawville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Brownstown/St. Elmo nor Okawville have any future games scheduled.
