Basketball Recap: Surry County Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sussex Central, Surry County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons by a score of 42-33. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-45 last Tuesday.

Surry County's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-16. As for Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech, they are on a 33-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
