Softball Recap: Royal Takes a Loss

Royal lost against Thousand Oaks two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Royal Highlanders took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thousand Oaks Lancers. That's two games in a row now that the Highlanders have lost by exactly three runs.

Holly White made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

This is the second loss in a row for Royal and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Thousand Oaks, their record now sits at 6-2.

Coming up, Royal will host Westlake at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Royal is facing Westlake at the right time seeing as Westlake is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Thousand Oaks, they will head out to take on Camarillo at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Camarillo will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Thousand Oaks surely won't give up without a fight.
