Basketball Recap: Perkins County Plainsmen vs. Wauneta-Palisade Broncos
Perkins County suffered their closest defeat since January 18, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos by a score of 51-48. The Plainsmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Perkins County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Holyoke at 4:00 p.m. on January 28th. Wauneta-Palisade has already played their next contest, a 35-31 loss against Garden County on the 18th.
