Softball Recap: Lawrence Upper Comes Up Short

Lawrence Upper lost to North on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions fell 20-15 to the Vikings. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (11), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Ianthe Holdsworth made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 4-for-5 with five RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Isabella Weiss, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.

Lawrence Upper's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for North, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

Lawrence Upper does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 25-6 defeat against Cleveland Heights on the 14th.
