Olive Branch waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Germantown Red Devils a 13-0 shutout. Considering the Conquistadors have won four matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Olive Branch pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Germantown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Olive Branch and Germantown will both be playing Craigmont the next time they take the field. Olive Branch will head out to face Craigmont at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Germantown will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
