Soccer Recap: Cesar E. Chavez Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Cesar E. Chavez was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Lobos haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Cesar E. Chavez's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 6-5-2. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6-3.

Cesar E. Chavez will be playing at home against Westside at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, they will head out on the road to take on Lamar at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
