Hudson entered their tilt with Bloomer on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Blackhawks by a score of 2-0. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blackhawks, too.

Hudson was led to victory by Kaitlyn Drost and Della Dreher. Drost had ten digs and two assists, while Dreher had five digs. That's the most digs Drost has posted over her last seven matchups. Lucy Schmidtknecht also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Hudson's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Bloomer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Hudson is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Elk Mound at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bloomer, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Barron at 5:00 p.m. on September 9.
