Ligonier Valley's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Charleroi Cougars 67-13. The Rams' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Ligonier Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gregory Sleasman and Jacob Petalino. Ligonier Valley received some extra help from Mike Hillen, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Ligonier Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Charleroi, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ligonier Valley will welcome South Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Charleroi, they will host Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Prexies have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups.
