Bloomington South extended their postseason success on Saturday against East Central. Everything went their way against the East Central Trojans as they made off with a 49-23 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, East Central saw an underclassman step up: freshman Natalie Stenger posted ten points and six steals. Stenger is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

The win (which was Bloomington South's sixth in a row) raised their record to 23-2. As for East Central, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Looking ahead, Bloomington South will face off against Pike at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Pike's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. East Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
