Cabrillo waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Lompoc Braves with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Conquistadores also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.
The final score came out to 25-7, 25-6, 25-16.
Among those leading the charge was Madison Core, who had eight digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Savella, who had ten assists and three aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Cabrillo was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. They are 8-2 when they serve at least ten aces.
Cabrillo now has a winning record of 15-14-1. As for Lompoc, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
