While losing is never fun, the Tartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 862nd, while the Tigers are ranked 382nd).

Meanwhile, Estancia can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 50-43 win over Bolsa Grande.

Estancia's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for St. Margaret's, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

St. Margaret's didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Estancia in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 74-69 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Margaret's since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
