Preview: Paint Branch Panthers vs. Blair Blazers
The Paint Branch Panthers will be playing at home against the Blair Blazers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Friday, Paint Branch suffered a tough 34-13 loss at the hands of Blake. Paint Branch has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Although Paint Branch took the loss, they still got scores from Roman Spikes and Caden Jackson.
Meanwhile, Blair's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 21-20 to Bethesda-Chevy Chase.
The losing side was boosted by Quinn Stofa, who threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes.
Paint Branch now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Blair, their loss was their fourth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-5.
Paint Branch came up short against Blair when the teams last played back in September of 2022, falling 25-18. Will Paint Branch have more luck at home instead of on the road?
