Softball Recap: Spring Lake Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ludington on Thursday, Spring Lake came back down to earth. The Lakers came up short against the Unity Christian Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 15-1. The matchup marked the Lakers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Spring Lake saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tessa Britt, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Spring Lake's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Unity Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

While Spring Lake had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
