Football Recap: Triton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Triton was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by the Fuquay - Varina Bengals and fell 35-0. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Bengals are ranked 127th).

Alan Hinson threw for 29 yards on two of six attempts. On the ground, O'Brain Ward rushed for 43 yards.

Triton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fuquay - Varina, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Triton will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lee County at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. The matchup will give the Hawks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Fuquay - Varina, they will face off against Willow Spring at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
