Softball Recap: Tucson High Magnet School Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

While Tucson High Magnet School put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Perry. The Badgers walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Pumas. The win was nothing new for the Badgers as they're now sitting on six straight.

The result came thanks to Evannie Flores's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Adreana Hernandez was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Tucson High Magnet School's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-8. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Perry, they moved to 13-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Tucson High Magnet School didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Cesar Chavez on the 25th. As for Perry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-0 win against Chandler on the 24th.
