 The Bagley Flyers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 On Monday, Bagley was able to grind out a solid  victory over Pine River-Backus, taking the game  7-4. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Bagley.
  Mason Erickson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   three  hits. Erickson was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Erickson wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Gage Gunderson, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Fertile-Beltrami had to endure  a  five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They never let Badger/Greenbush-Middle River onto the board and left with  a   10-0  win  last Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Fertile-Beltrami considering their two-run performance the  contest before.
 The  victory  got Bagley back to even at 2-2. As for Fertile-Beltrami, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
