Football Recap: Mojave Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Mojave's offense. They were outmatched by the Bishop Gorman Gaels and fell 58-0. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Rattlers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mojave didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Demico Zamora.

Bishop Gorman got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maika Eugenio out in front who threw for 212 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Zyren Menor was another key pass catcher, picking up 82 receiving yards and three scores.

Mojave's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bishop Gorman, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Mojave has already played their next contest, a 27-16 win against Centennial on the 17th. As for Bishop Gorman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-0 victory against Somerset Academy Losee on the 17th.
