Volleyball Recap: Dexter Comes Up Short

Dexter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Saline Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dreadnaughts of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17.

Dexter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Saline, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0-1.

Dexter has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Adrian on the 16th. As for Saline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lincoln on the 16th.
