Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Abington Heights Comets, falling 3-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Comets from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-10.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Abington Heights, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mountain View will face off against rival Lackawanna Trail at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Abington Heights is set to challenge their familiar foe Elk Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
