Baseball Recap: Hobbton Takes a Loss

Hobbton lost against Rosewood back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Eagles, falling 13-2. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Hobbton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zack Aman, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Hobbton's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Rosewood, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Hobbton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-2 victory against Wallace-Rose Hill on the 9th. As for Rosewood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 18-0 win against Union on the 8th.
