Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orthopaedic). They strolled past the Downtown Magnets Suns with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 38-21. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Vipers with their most commanding win of the season.

Downtown Magnets' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Alexa Antolin, who posted 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals, and Isabella Palma, who scored three points in addition to five boards and four steals. The dominant performance gave Antolin a new career-high in points.

Orthopaedic's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Downtown Magnets, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11.

Orthopaedic and Downtown Magnets' offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Orthopaedic and Aspire Ollin (who has only given up 27.91 points per game) will meet at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Downtown Magnets will face off against USC-MAE at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, a squad that's only allowed 25.6 points per game.
