Soccer Recap: River Bluff Takes a Loss

After flying high against Irmo last Tuesday, River Bluff came back down to earth. River Bluff fell 2-0 to the Chapin Eagles on Friday. River Bluff fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Chapin since on Friday.

River Bluff's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Chapin, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. River Bluff is set to face off against their familiar foe Dutch Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chapin will take on rival Irmo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
