Basketball Recap: Rockville Comes Up Short

Rockville lost against Richard Montgomery back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the Rockville Rams and the Richard Montgomery Rockets didn't end well, with the Rockville Rams falling 65-47. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Rockets are ranked 45th).

Rockville has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points over those games. Richard Montgomery's win bumped their record up to 15-7.

As of now, neither Rockville nor Richard Montgomery have any future games scheduled.
