Basketball Recap: Grapevine Comes Up Short

Grapevine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Argyle Eagles, falling 58-34. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 472nd, while the Eagles are ranked 159th).

Grapevine's defeat dropped their record down to 12-21. As for Argyle, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 17-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Grapevine nor Argyle have any future games scheduled.
