Baseball Recap: Brentwood Academy Comes Up Short

Brentwood Academy lost against Father Ryan on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Brentwood Academy Eagles fell 9-5 to the Father Ryan Irish. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Will Rooney made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Keaton Uggla, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Brentwood Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Father Ryan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

While Brentwood Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
